About Rock River Rug Camp

Come play hooky with us!

Rock River Rug Camp has been gathering in the scenic hills outside of Chicago, IL for 37 years.  Students have their choice of 5 talented McGown certified teachers. Each day of your action packed week starts out with breakfast at the main dining room followed by a day of instruction and hooking in your chosen class.  Evening activities include a white elephant sale, student rug show, wool game and entertainment that will leave you in stitches.  There is plenty of wool for sale as well as a camp store featuring goods from teachers and students alike.
